'Improving operations at AD facilities' is a one day training course covering a range of topics to
help AD operators optimise their process, tackle process problems and manage stable, efficient AD facilities.  The worked examples will guide operators through critical metrics, which can be used to optimise digester performance.

This WRAP course will cover a range of topics for AD operators to equip them with the knowledge and skills to be able to successfully mitigate and tackle issues that may arise when operating AD facilities. It will also teach them how to design and optimise their process for efficient and stable operation, maximising gas yield, achieving long term process viability and high quality digestate output.

The worked examples will guide operators through critical metrics, which can be used to optimise digester performance.  Each delegate will have the opportunity to undertake calculations for their own site and be able to benchmark their current operation against the industry norm.  There will also be the opportunity to discuss with course speakers one to one.

This course will be of particular relevance to those AD operators producing or looking to produce quality digestate products (ideally to PAS 110), as it will cover AD processes accepting source-segregated (waste) feedstocks as well as non-waste feedstocks (such as purpose-grown crops).
