In May 2020, we launched FLAWLESS (Halving Food Loss And Waste by Leveraging Economic Systems), a new project in Indonesia, South Africa and Mexico to halve food loss and waste by leveraging economic systems.
This global coalition of partners will accelerate action on food loss and waste by firstly mobilising the financial sector to factor in both financial and environmental performance in their lending.
The project was successfully launched online as part of the official launch of the South African Food Loss and Waste voluntary agreement to mark International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste.
