Head of Government Relations
Dr Melanie Uzzell is the Head of Government Relations. She is responsible for building, growing and managing WRAP’s strategic relationships with key government departments UK-wide and is accountable to government funders for the delivery of WRAP programmes.
Melanie has over 15 years experience in the public sector in Australia and the UK, bringing together the public, private and tertiary sectors to drive local and international economic development and regeneration. More recently she led a national award-winning team to deliver government priorities and accelerate local productivity.
She has a PhD in International Business from the University of Adelaide and speaks fluent Italian.
