Head of Citizen Behaviour Change
Sarah has over fifteen years’ experience managing large scale programmes in sustainability and resource efficiency. Joining WRAP in October 2006 as a project manager, Sarah progressed to programme manager guiding WRAP’s activity on Sustainable Procurement, Sustainable Events and Repair & Reuse.
As Head of Citizen Behaviour Change, Sarah is now responsible for WRAP’s citizen-facing activity on food waste prevention, sustainable clothing and recycling, which covers the Love Food Hate Waste, Love Your Clothes and Recycle Now consumer campaigns. Previously, Sarah headed up WRAP’s delivery on Clothing & Textiles including SCAP, and Electricals & Electronic Products including REBus.
During her career at WRAP, Sarah has been responsible for managing WRAP’s input into the European Waste Protocols Project, a joint Environment Agency and WRAP initiative with industry sectors looking at defining end of waste. She also worked on London 2012 with LOCOG, leading her team to be awarded the London 2012 Inspire Mark for WRAP's Resource Management Plan (RMP) tool.
Prior to joining WRAP, Sarah worked for the Confederation of Paper Industries (CPI), leading their work on recovered paper including managing their PaperChain initiative. Sarah is a member of the Chartered Institute for Waste Management and the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and holds a CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing.
