Network expansion delivers more re-use.

Durham County Council has widened partnership networks to source new material for re-use.

Award winning County Durham Re-use Forum
Diverted 715 tonnes of bulky items and bric-a-brac
New partnerships could bring about 549 tonnes of extra material for re-use

Durham County Council and the award-winning County Durham Re-use Forum were already targeting bulky waste, but felt that more could be done. With WRAP support, the authority was able to create a realistic picture of the scale of material available, build the relationships necessary to secure it, and focus communications campaigns effectively.
