WRAP

Trustee

Job Reference XBDXA1
Closing Date Wednesday 10 May 2023

The current fragility of our global systems highlights the huge and immediate need to address the complex issues at the heart of climate change. At the same time, a range of competing pressures such as war, food shortages and economic headwinds, means that the urgency of addressing the climate emergency is suddenly under threat.

For over two decades, WRAP has been at the forefront of making the world a more sustainable place, exemplifying positive, future-focused leadership. We bring people and organisations together, acting on facts, to drive focused outcomes and catalyse meaningful change. From our UK roots, we have expanded internationally to work in over 40 countries worldwide, as well as in the scale of our operations and capabilities.

WRAP is seeking to attract a Board Trustee with significant strategic finance experience, most likely gained in a senior level finance role, Director, or CFO in a complex commercial, public or charitable organisation, that can provide a strategic perspective regarding the financial and commercial development, planning and management of WRAP. We would be keen to attract someone who will Chair our Audit and Risk Committee.

Our new Trustee will bring the strategic experience and insight that will assist in the oversight and development of the next phase of our organisational growth and impact, will be passionate about the work we undertake and equally ambitious regarding the growth and scaling of our work in the UK and internationally. We are particularly keen to encourage interest from a wide range of diverse under-represented backgrounds and direct experience of living and working in the Global South will be particularly valued.
