26 March 2021

We are pleased to announce that Claire Shrewsbury has been promoted to Director of Insights and Innovation at WRAP.

In her new role, Claire will oversee the teams that deliver crucial research and insights which underpin so much of WRAP’s work, as well as those that deliver technical support to local authorities, and management of grant programmes.

Marcus Gover, WRAP CEO, commented: “Claire was an exceptional candidate and I am delighted she has accepted this post. Her knowledge of the waste management sector and its role in accelerating the move towards a circular economy is unrivalled, and I know she will lead her teams in a way that embodies WRAP values and our vision for a world where resources are used sustainably.”

Claire commented: “I’m extremely proud to work for WRAP and of the incredible work we do, so I’m very excited to be taking on this new role. My priority is to ensure that my brilliant teams continue to deliver work which is relevant, impactful, and delivers real change on the ground.”

Claire joined WRAP in 2008 as Glass Sector Manager, before climbing the ranks to her previous post as Head of Governments and Communities.
