WRAP's Market Snapshot provides an overview of recent developments in recovered material markets.

Clear PET and natural HDPE bottle prices continue to rise while coloured PET and mixed polymer bottle prices have declined during Q3 2018. The price of high quality OCC paper that reaches the Chinese market has increased sharply compared to UK OCC prices.
Based on the latest trade data (August 2018) Taiwan is the most important recovered plastic export destination accounting for 25% of UK exports.
