Dr Indah Budiani

Executive Director, Indonesia Business Council for Sustainable Development (IBCSD)

Having more than 18 years of working experience with NGOs, government, and private sector on biodiversity, environmental and climate change issues, Dr Indah Budiani now focuses on promoting sustainable business that covers environment, economic, and social aspects. Her experience working on biodiversity and climate change issues as well as on sustainable business, has made her an outstanding expert in this combined field.

As her educational background, she is a graduate from Faculty of Law, Padjadjaran University, Indonesia, got her master from Sustainable Resource Management program at TU Muenchen, Germany, and a doctoral degree graduate on Social Welfare study from University of Indonesia that give her adequate knowledge on sustainability area; environmental, social, and governance.

She joined IBCSD in 2013 and since 2019 she has been leading the organization with 52 member companies from 17 sectors.
