In this project, WRAP investigated the scope to increase the proportion of recycled fibre used by magazine publishing to ensure long-term end markets for recovered fibre. Increased demand and use of recycled content paper will increase the diversion of paper from landfill, and improve the likelihood of investment in new recycled content paper capacity.

The Publicly Available Specification 111 (BSI PAS 111:2012) for processing wood waste was commissioned by WRAP in collaboration with the British Standards Institution (BSI) and extensive consultation with the wood recycling industry.

This case study describes how the Dorset Waste Partnership (DWP) has successfully introduced the collection of PTTs at the kerbside, as part of a strategic review of its recycling and waste services.
